Before founding Selah Psychiatry & Wellness, board-certified Rosana Rival Pérez dedicated over 15 years to practicing Family Medicine, where she developed a deep understanding of how physical and emotional health are profoundly connected. Her passion for comprehensive care led her to expand her expertise into Psychiatry and Mental Health, offering patients an integrative and compassionate approach to healing.

Rosana earned both her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degrees from Miami Regional University. She also holds a Doctor of Medicine degree (2011) obtained abroad, a milestone that reflects her lifelong dedication to medicine and patient care.

A proud immigrant, Rosana takes great pride in having overcome cultural and professional barriers to achieve her dream of serving others in the United States. Her journey is one of perseverance, passion, and purpose—embodying the belief that healing begins with empathy, understanding, and holistic balance.

Before founding Selah Psychiatry & Wellness, board-certified Elimerys Mora Machado brought over 16 years of medical experience rooted in her deep commitment to patient care. With a strong foundation in Family Medicine, she developed a keen understanding of how mental and physical health intertwine, shaping her holistic approach to healing.

Her dedication to treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—led her to pursue advanced practice degrees as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Miami Regional University. In addition, she holds an international Doctor of Medicine degree (2009), reflecting her lifelong passion for medicine and her unwavering pursuit of excellence in healthcare.

As an immigrant physician and advanced practice provider, Elimerys takes pride in her journey of perseverance and purpose—overcoming barriers and building a career centered on compassion, cultural understanding, and clinical excellence.
